The US run of AFI’s The Blood Tour is almost coming to a close, but not before making a few stops in their home state of California. The band stopped by the Vina Robles Amphitheater in Paso Robles with support from Circa Survive and Citizen

While the band is currently out promoting their latest release “The Blood Album“, they made sure to include plenty of old favorites as well. Although the set list was a bit short for a headlining act (14 songs), AFI did a great job of mixing it up including classics such as “Girls Not Grey” and “17 Crimes“, and new hits like “Snow Cats“.

With his powerful vocals and explosive energy, frontman Davey Havoc really knows how to entertain a crowd.  I witnessed crowd surfing and most pits all the way up until the end of their set when they played their biggest hit to date “Miss Murder“.

AFI is a band that’s been around for several years but only gets better as time goes on. I’ve been to a handful of their shows and honestly think this was their best performance I’ve seen. The tour only has a few days left, but if you’re near any of those cities I highly recommend going!
